CIAO A TUTTI!!
Hi! My name is Leonora, I’m 21 and I’m studying languages here at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa as an Erasmus student for the next semester. I’m from Rome, but I’m taking my degree in English and Portuguese at the Università degli Studi di Perugia; I moved away from Rome because I think it is becoming a very chaotic city (so I prefer to study in a quiet city; but it’s very beautiful and funny too).To present myself maybe I could tell you about the music I like and what I like to do in my spare time. I love music and movies. Most of all I listen to rock and electronic music; some of my favourite artists are Radiohead, The Hives, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and other Italian groups (that obviously not all of you could know…) like Afterhours and Baustelle. And some electronic group like Motel Connection, Boards of Canada, Prodigy and others. And obviously some classic group like Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and a lot of others. I really love Woody Allen too: I think he’s one of the most crazy people on Earth! I think he is a genius for his comic style! I love his movies: my favourite are "Io e Annie" and "Amore e Guerra"; but I also see other kinds of movies (action movies, love movies…): I think you have to “taste” all in your life, even if something does not seem in consonance with your daily lifestyle, maybe, one day, you might love something you never thought you would! I’m studying Portuguese and its culture because one day I would like to go work in Brazil and work with children; I hope here in Lisbon I can meet a lot of Brazilian people to improve my Brazilian Portuguese ( and my European Portuguese too, of course!!) and get to know the Brazilian culture better .Well...this is a "classic presentation", but a nice one!!
