This story takes place in Orange County, California.Ryan Atwood (Benjamin Mckenzie), a problematic guy, goes to Newport Beach, because his mother threw him out of their family home. So he stays in a family composed by Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher), Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) and Kirsten Cohen (Kelly Rowan). There, he meets Marissa (Mischa Barton) and they became friends, later boyfriends. He also knows Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson), Marissa's best friend.

Marissa, Summer, Seth and Ryan became the main group of friends of this drama-comedy program. They live a lot of adventures that sometimes makes us think, because some of the moments of this program corresponds to reality. In spite of this group be the most important, there are also another characters like, Julie Cooper ( Melinda Clarke), Taylor Townsend (Autumn Reeser) and Kaitlin Cooper (Willa Holland) that are important on these main group life's.

One thing that i have also to say is that, this program is composed by some seasons. So if you want to see them go to the official website : http://www.fox.com/oc/recaps/ and choose the episode that you want to see.

So...enjoy it:D
